Edwards Lifesciences Rep, Accounting, Critical Care (Temporary) in Nave 15, Dominican Republic

Responsible for providing accounting support duties and processing them in a timely manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine accounting support including the accurate and timely processing of invoices, T&E payments, from suppliers and vendors and reconciling balance sheet accounts and other tasks under close supervision

• May assist in accounting projects as needed (e.g., internal, external, year-end, and SOX audits)

• Other incidental duties

Education and Experience:

H.S. Diploma or equivalent 2 years years experience of previous related experience Required and

directly related experience working in accounting support Required

Additional Skills:

• Good computer skills including usage of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP application; preferably JDE

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local language

• Good interpersonal relationship skills

• Moderate knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and requirements in accounting as it relates to their location/region/function

• Basic knowledge and understanding of local GAAP/GAAS as it relates to function

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel), ERP application (e.g. JDE), and other functionally related systems

• Good problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

• Attention to detail

• Knowledge of and adherence to EW policies and procedures

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
