Manager, Legal

Provides expertise on essential, highly specialized client support regarding all contract drafting (including reviewing and revising) and legal consultation (which may be sometimes relevant to healthcare industry compliance regulations).

Key Responsibilities:

・Commercial (Contracts):

・Prepare, review, and negotiate business contracts. Partner with business units and functions.

・Draft and implement contracts, including updating templates in accordance with company guidelines, development of laws and regulations.

・Identify and evaluate legal process improvement opportunities

・Other incidental duties

Providing training (Personal Information Protection, Trade Secret, etc.).

Leading small / medium-size projects as efficient project manager.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in related field (Law) Strongly Desired ,

(at least) 10 years years experience of previous related experience Required.

Knowledge and advising experience regarding Civil Law, Commercial Law, Personal Information Protection Law, Anti-Trust Law, Unfair Competition Prevention Law, as well as Fair Competition Code (“公競規”), Medical Device Promotion Code Desired.

Experience working in the medical device/health care industry Strongly Desired.

Additional Skills:

・Proven successful project management skills

・Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, and contract lifecycle management systems

・Excellent documentation skill

・Excellent communication skill to build solid interpersonal relationship with internal clients to achieve common objectives

・Strict attention to detail

・Proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization

・Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
