This incumbent will support EHS engineers and coordinate all Environment, Health & Safety related functions and activities, in compliance with local EH&S guidelines, Edwards procedures, and other applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist EH&S Engineers in the upkeep of EHS Documentation

Assist EH&S Engineers in carrying out inspection and permit controls

Assist EH&S Engineers in conducting Contractor orientation

• Monitor EH&S supplies inventory levels and update EH&S engineers

• On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period

• Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping, 6S, photocopying, EH&S documentation

Education and Experience:

Other: in GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent, 2 years experience previous work experience in a MNC in a similar position Preferred

Qualification Workplace Safety & Health will be an added advantage

Additional Skills:

• Good communication skills

• Ability read, comprehend, speak, and write English, preferred

• Good computer skills with proven ability to learn computer-based programs

• Adhere to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines as they relate to warehouse operations and clean room medical device manufacturing

• Must be able to work with minimum supervision by following detailed work instructions for semi-routine tasks

• Work in and promote a Team environment, including exchanging information related to performing required tasks with colleagues, within and outside of the warehouse

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
